In Spring 2026, I learned to use metal shop tools to develop this ARTS 1020: Introduction to Studio Arts 2 project. The final piece is a fern made entirely of 18-gauge aluminum, using cold working processes of plasma cutting, belt sanding, hammering, spot-welding, and riveting.
