The Colorado Engineer Magazine (CEM) is a student publication of nonfiction articles of recent scientific breakthroughs alongside creative science fiction works. One edition is published and distributed to 10,000+ students and subscribers every semester. As a Design Editor throughout Spring/Fall 2025, I created numerous spreads, I met weekly with the editor in chief, writers, and other design editors to develop the visual presentation of the magazine. I formatted spreads by choosing graphics, fonts, layouts, and thematic elements to communicate ideas in an effective, compelling manner.
